Honey Garlic Pork Chops

For dinner tonight I was making the “boys” pork chops.  I didn’t want to make the usual lol… so I thought I would mix a few things together and hope it tasted well.  I guess I should have known that combining honey, brown sugar and garlic would work no matter what but I also added a bit of cayenne pepper powder and a few other things.

This is the experimental pork chops recipe.  I hope you enjoy it as much as they did!

This is what I decided on for my ingredients.  The only thing I didn’t have in the picture is the sliced onions I decided to add at the last minute.

The first thing I did was to pour about 1 Tbsp. of Olive Oil in my baking pan and using a pastry brush made sure the whole bottom of the pan was “greased.”

Then I placed the pork chops in the pan, spread the sliced onion rings on them and set it aside until the “sauce” was mixed up.

Now I mixed up the sauce.  I added 3 Tbsp. Honey, 4 Tbsp. Brown Sugar, 2 Tsp. Garlic Powder, 1 Tsp. Cayenne Pepper Powder and 3 Tbsp. Water to a large measuring cup and using my whisk, mixed it all up until combined. It looked like this.

I poured this concoction all over the pork chops and onions, making sure they were all covered.

Then I sprinkled some fresh ground pepper on top and baked it at 375 for 45 minutes.

And this is what came out of the oven when the 45 minutes were up!
