This is it! Our 200th Post! I almost feel like it should be something a bit more monumental, but it is what it is lol!
Today’s post almost didn’t happen! For the life of me, I could not remember where my loose chain was. I knew I had a bag with about 10 ft. of it somewhere and it took forever to find it. I won’t be posting a button art craft tomorrow because of a Dr’s appointment so I didn’t want to miss today’s!
This craft would be a great gift idea or even a great teen or tween craft!
This is what I started out with. Some jump rings, a length of chain, buttons, little dragonfly pendants and my needle nose pliers.
The creation of this bracelet is as simple as threading buttons or the pendants onto jump rings and then attaching that to the chain. I tried to do a dragonfly every 3 or 4 buttons and tried to use different shades of the purple coloured buttons in between each, just to change it up a bit.
It would have looked a lot better if I could have found my silver coloured jump rings but all in all, I don’t think it turned out too bad for a first go! It took less than an hour which means for most people it would probably only take you about half that… it is hard to thread jump rings with sort of double vision (it is too hard to explain lol).
Here are a few pictures of the finished bracelet!
