Coffee Jelly with Cinnamon and Vanilla

We are down to only a few more things we want to make for our Christmas Preserve Baskets for this year!

One of them is the Coffee Jelly (with Cinnamon and Vanilla) that I made this morning! I LOVE coffee, so this just seemed the ultimate in jelly making lol!  As with most jellies, that are made with juice/liquid, I just used freshly brewed coffee to make this one.

I also have my turkey for Thanksgiving in the oven.  It is the first time that I am cooking it using the convection setting on my new oven.  I am documenting how it goes and will hopefully post it tomorrow!

For the rest of today, I am hoping to spend it at the sewing machine, getting a few more Christmas gifts off my To Do list!

Fast & Easy Cranberry Sauce

I know that our Thanksgiving is still a week and more away, but I like to get everything… and I mean everything done ahead of time so that I can enjoy the day.  Nothing worse than hearing about your own gathering, because you were stuck in the kitchen all day cooking.

This recipe is very simple, and takes less than 15 minutes to make your own Cranberry Sauce and not the cylindrical blob of jelly “stuff” that comes out of a can!

We usually make jars of this to add to our Christmas baskets too!

Crocheted Diaper Cover for Baby

Okay, I did end up deciding to make a Diaper Cover to go with the Teddy Bear Hat and the Baby Socks for a gift for someone I know that is expecting.

I still had some of the matching wool and the pattern I found just looked so cute!

This is how the diaper cover turned out!  Isn’t it adorable?  It is going to make a great addition to this new baby gift!

I found this quick and easy FREE pattern for the diaper cover at sewrella.com.  Thank you to them for an awesome pattern.

Here is the full link to the pattern: http://www.sewrella.com/2016/05/the-parker-crochet-diaper-cover.html

And this is the whole set, ready for gifting!

Fresh Dill Dinner Rolls

I wanted to try out a dinner roll recipe before Thanksgiving to make sure it is one I would like to make for our dinner.

These go together quickly and taste DELICIOUS! They are soft and flaky and Dillon and I have already taste tested them!

I’m still considering making a little diaper cover to go with them.

Teddy Bear Baby Hat

I made a cute little baby Bear hat for someone I know that is expecting.  They aren’t due for a while so who knows what else I will end up making. I’ve already started a pair of baby socks from a pattern I found on Pinterest!

You forget how small baby items are until you make them again, and as an added bonus, how quickly they are to make lol!
