Faux Stained Glass Part #3 – The Cat

Here is my next faux stained glass project.  This time I am doing a picture with a cat looking out a window for a cat fanatic I know!

Again I started by making sure the glass was nice and clean, as previously described in both my Faux Stained Glass Lotus Flower and The Dragonfly posts.

I taped the picture I was going to work from to the back of the glass and started to apply the liquid leading to the glass.

I applied the various colours to the cat and background.

And then set it on it’s frame to dry as well.

Once dry I applied a quick coat of sealer and then glued it back into it’s frame, cut the frame backing down to size so only the glass was showing and then glued and used the backing holders to hold this in place.

All it needed was some nice ribbon to hang it by and this gift is ready for it’s recipient!
