You may have noticed that I’ve been absent from the blog lately. I’ve referenced in several posts the fact that I haven’t been feeling well. I am finally starting to feel better and wanted to take an opportunity to share with the blog where I’ve been and where my time and energy has been invested recently.
Thankfully, I am happy to share that my being sick has been for a very good reason. You may have noticed that my mom referenced in recent posts, like the Crocheted Diaper Cover for Baby, that someone in our lives in expecting a baby. That someone is me!
Now that I’m waving goodbye to the not-so-fun first trimester, I am excited to share the news that I am expecting my first little one in April of 2018! And since I’m slowly starting to feel less sick and more human again, I will be returning to the blog more regularly. I look forward to sharing all my DIY adventures, because even sick me found time for Pinterest, as I transition from not only being a daughter on this mother-daughter blog to also being a mother.

Congratulations!!
When I was pregnant, I also had a very bad first trimester, but when you feel better again and regain some strength, the second trimester is great! More energy and (in my case) less mood swings. With the first baby kicks later on. Enjoy this one!
