Picture Frame Pin Cushion

Today’s craft is an other quick/dollar store craft, that would make a great stocking stuffer for the sewer on your list!

Sandie

I used a 4 x 6 frame, a piece of fabric that was one inch around larger than the frame, a bit of batting, some paint and my glue gun!

I took the frame apart and painted the actual “frame” part of it.

While it was drying, I cut out a piece of batting a little bit smaller than the glass in the frame.

I layered the batting between the glass and my fabric.

And using my glue gun, glued the edges over to what will be the back of the frame.

And when the painted frame was dry I put the glass and wood backing back in, secured it with the metal pieces on the back of the frame and glued a ribbon to one corner to dress it up a bit.

I stuck a few pins in it to show it’s purpose and that is my Picture Frame Pin Cushion!
