2 x 4 Scrap Snowmen

I had an extra piece of 2 x 4 laying around from another craft and asked Dillon to cut it to size for me to make a few cute little snowmen with!

Sandie

As I stated above, I had Dillon cut a 2 x 4 down so I could make these.  I had him cut them to about 6 inches long.

I base painted them white, as you can see in the top right corner from when I did my big base painting day.

I drew and then painted faces on each one, and some buttons.

Then I took some Christmas socks I bought from the dollar store, folded the cuff over and placed it over the top of the 2 x 4’s to make the snowmen’s hats!

I cut 3 pieces of scrap fleece into approximately one inch by 12 inch strips and then I “fringed” the top to make it look like a pom pom and my 2 x 4 snowmen were done!

I think might stick one in a few of our Christmas Preserve Baskets this year!
