Pacifier Leash/Holder

I saw some really cute pacifier holders on Pinterest.  I looked around while we were out and found a bunch of suspender clips that would work perfectly for them.  I think I bought 6 of them so don’t be surprised if more of these show up in the near future lol!

I started by making a slip stitch into what would be the fabric end of the clips and then worked 6 single crochet into the same spot.

I continued working the 6 single crochet, with a chain 1 at the end of each row, until it was the length I wanted.  It took about 40 rows.

On the last row I worked it like this:

Single crochet decrease over the first 2 single crochet spaces from previous row, slip stitch into next sc, chain 25 and then slip stitch into the next stitch, single crochet decrease over the last two sc.  Fasten off and weave in ends.

Then I started on the flower.  I worked it like this:

Chain 2.

15 single crochet in second chain from hook, join to first single crochet to form a circle.

Chain 15, slip stitch into first sc space.  Continue around until all 15 sc have a chain “petal,” fasten off and weave in ends.

Attach with a button to the suspender clip end of the leash/holder.

And that is how I made my pacifier leash/holder!  I have a few ideas for other ones so stay tuned!
