I decided the other day to try making my own salad dressing. I had just picked a few of the veggies that were ready from my garden…. yes, I have veggies actually growing lol.
So… I made a nice salad to have with dinner with these veggies and stuff from the grocery store. I wasn’t sure Dillon would like the dressing because he is, politely put, a fusspot when it comes to trying new foods… at least he used to be… but he finished his salad and really liked the dressing!
Here are the ingredients. Most homemade salad dressings require minimal effort… pour everything into your mason jar or whatever you are using, shake it up and serve!
As I said above…. I poured all of the ingredients into a small mason jar…
Placed the clean lid and ring on the jar… and shook it up until everything was combined evenly.
And then poured it over the salads I made! Easy peasy!!!
ACV/Dijon Salad Dressing
Preparation Time: 5 minutes Servings: about 1 cup of dressing
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/3 cup Apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 3 tsp. minced garlic
- 3 tbsp. Dijon mustard
- Pour all ingredients into jar.
- Shake jar to combined ingredients evenly.
- Serve over your favourite salad.
