Sunday I was having a bit of a crappy day and I thought maybe sewing/embroidering something might help. I have barely had a chance to get into my craft room to do any sewing in what feels like weeks.
I bought a bunch of inexpensive tea towels, pillow cases, towels, handkerchiefs and such to practice on and will share what I make as I do them!
This time I decided to make myself something. And I did a little embroidery on a shirt for Dillon… a shirt that I was supposed to do something else with ages ago!
Because Dillon is so into cycling, I thought I would make his shirt in that theme. I downloaded a cyclist from one of the sites I mentioned in “Finding Free Embroidery Patterns,” and put it on the shirt with his name! He was pretty happy with how it turned out!
Next I decided to make myself a couple of tea towels with some kind of “Grandma” theme. Again, I found these patterns on one of those sites and I was really happy with how well they turned out. I now have them displayed in my kitchen so I can enjoy them all the time!
I am still trying to navigate my way through the Embroidery software I bought but once I do, I will share with everyone the patterns I make!
