We still haven’t found a BBQ we want so no backyard BBQ’S for us so far this year! But… I knew Chris was dying for a steak so I pan fried it to satisfy his craving lol!
I didn’t start with an ingredient picture for some reason so I will just do the step by step.
The first thing I did was to put a couple tablespoonfuls of olive oil in the pan and heated it up on high heat.
While it was heating up I sprinkled both sides of the steaks with salt and pepper.
I placed the steaks in the pan with the preheated oil and seared them for about a minute per side. I did this about 3 times to ensure they were cooked through.
Next I added 1 heaping tablespoon of butter/margarine, 3 tsp. minced garlic and about 1 1/2 cups of sliced mushrooms.
I continued cooking on medium high heat until the mushrooms were cooked and getting crispy, still turning the steaks every minute so they were evenly cooked.
I let the steaks sit for about 5 minutes and then served them with baked potatoes, veggies and caesar salad!
