It has been a crazy busy few days… crazy enough that I didn’t even get anything posted for yesterday! I had this sign done and ready to post but didn’t get the actual typing done.
This project was one of 4 signs/projects I base painted the other day.

This is a sign where I used an SVG cut file I purchased from an Etsy seller and some leaves and dragonflies I purchased from the Cricut Design space. I did the wording and then put the dragonflies down the sides with the leaves.

It might not be as fancy as some other patterns/projects but it was fun to experiment a little!
Once it was done, I sealed it because I knew it was going on the back deck/porch.

Hopefully I get the other two done today or tomorrow to post!

There are some really cool ones. If I didn’t already have my next two lined up, I would probably be getting another dragonfly one lol 😳

I still have it on my want list. I’m thinking more and more about it after seeing your projects. Thank you very much…. 🙂

I’m not sure if that was sarcasm or not lol… but I will still say you’re welcome! Wait until I start to know what I’m doing! 😋

Yes, it was a joke…I am loving the projects you are doing and I would love to play around with one. But I wasn’t thinking too hard about buying one until I saw the cool things you are doing.

That was me with all the cool things I saw on Pinterest. I thought it would be great for gifts, decor and anything else. I lucked out on Amazon Prime Day because it was half price and I jumped at it lol!

WOW!!! Thank you so much for sending the links! Those will come in so handy! I can’t wait to try them! 🤩🤩🤩
The free cut files are awesome while I’m still learning to use the software. I actually tried to do my own “pattern” for a sign that I’m going to post hopefully later this week… keeping in mind that the pattern is mostly just me positioning free system fonts and images but it is a start lol!

I’m glad you like the links. Lots of cool ideas. I’ll probably use several for painting patterns. You’ll get it all figured out! Then when I finally get my machine, I can say “Hey, Sandie, what the heck am I doing wrong? 😀

I do… the links and cut files in them are awesome. I certainly won’t be short on projects to make!
The software seems fairly easy, but as with any software you need to learn the little tricks in order to get the most out of it. I should just give my laptop to Dillon and tell him to figure it out and teach me lol!
Some of the patterns would make great patterns for painting as well! And embroidery once I figure that software out too!
