Jerk Chicken Wings (Baked)

I was making Pizza and Wings for dinner the other night and I can’t for the life of me remember if I have posted them before so I decided I would post it anyway…. just in case! I am pretty sure I have posted a regular jerk chicken recipe, just not wings.

Chris says these are the best wings around… and he is a chicken wing connoisseur lol. I make my own jerk seasoning/marinade, let the wings marinate in it for at least 6 hours and then bake the wings… yes… bake. And they are absolutely delicious! I used the Pizza Hut Copycat recipe for the pizza that I always use now and we had better than take out Pizza and Wings for dinner!

Quick Reusable Water Cup Project – Cricut

They say if the show fits, wear it… well, with a Traumatic Brain Injury, Eye Injury and Menopause… this show definitely fits some days lol! Just ask Chris and Dillon!

On a lighter note, I saw a few versions of this on Pinterest and really wanted to put one on one of my reusable water cups!

This project took less that 10 minutes including cut time, so very quick. I did it at the same time I was doing the logo mug for my mother-in-law!

Business Logo Mug – Cricut

I was deciding on some new patterns I wanted to try to do for gifts and such the other day and it somehow popped into my head to try to do a mug with the logo and phone number of my mother-in-law’s Cat Hotel business. I thought it would be a fun project for me to practice removing the background on again and it would be great advertising for her!

Pumpkin Oatmeal Walnut Muffins

A different, healthy take on Pumpkin muffins… lots of flavour in a few bites (I made them in my mini muffin pan lol). I made the muffin batter and before baking I sprinkled some of the cinnamon sugar I had leftover from my Pumpkin Donuts to give it just that little bit of extra flavour, but you can leave that out if you like.

As with the Pumpkin Donuts I made the same day, not all of the muffins even made it to the plate before they were being devoured lol!

I used oatmeal in place of some of the flour in these muffins and put the oatmeal through my food processor on grind until it was almost a flour but still a bit “grainy,” almost a graham crumb type texture. With some of the wonderful fall spices, maple syrup and some walnuts, these are delicious tasting, easy to make muffins!!!

Caramel Brownies

Yum! Caramel and rich, chocolaty brownies!!! What could be a better combination? I love caramel and brownies are my weakness (why I don’t make them often lol), so I decided to combine the two on the weekend for lunch box snacks!

I use my favourite brownie recipe, the one I use every single time, and then added some melted caramels into the mix. Very sweet, but a wonderful treat!

Baked Pumpkin Donuts

It’s official… it’s Pumpkin Season! I was more than ready to hop on board… although I really don’t know why we only tend to eat/make pumpkin recipes this time of year. It’s not like pumpkin, whether it be in a can or not, isn’t available year round!!! I will have to ponder that one lol!

This time it is Pumpkin Donuts I made, baked Pumpkin Donuts to be exact! While baking as opposed to frying them probably doesn’t make them healthy, it definitely makes them better for you than fried donuts…. at least that’s what I am telling myself!

Fall Table Decorations – Cricut Project

I am still working on learning the ins and outs of my Cricut and having a hell of a time doing it lol! This time I decided to put some decorations on a table centre piece collection I got at my last auction!

Here is the set I bought. I don’t know if they were actually bought as a set but they do look very nice together!

I decided to go with a Fall theme for them based on the colour.

I found both designs on the Design Space program/app and cut them. This is the “Fall” design I chose.

I cut the file and then adhered it to the glass pieces and it was done. I think the Fall part could have been a bit more centered to the actual jar but I adhered it with the jar part laying down and I think tha’ts where my problem was!

And here is the centre piece for a nice fall dinner setting.
